Just plug in a few parameters to get started and have a functioning tune in no time. No more headaches with tuning aftermarket throttlebodies, variable cam tables, 27 spark tables. The simplicity of the EEC-V computer makes it versatile and easy to tune with software like SCT, HP Tuners, Megasquirt, and more. We’ve tested this combo up to 8000 rpm with no issues.
We converted to a mechanical style throttle body and throttle cable that connects to your stock accelerator pedal, along with an idle air control valve for controlling idle instead of the drive-by-wire system.
Fuel Rail Adapter included in this kit is designed to connect your stock Coyote fuel rail to a factory 99-04 Ford Mustang fuel line without any hassle. This also includes the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor (FRPS) adapter so that you can continue using your FRPS as a source for fuel pressure monitoring. This keeps the FRPS in the stock location as a 99-04 Mustang. May not fit all Ford vehicles as some vehicles such as the F150 did not have this sensor and use a different type of fuel system. Most Ford vehicles use the Springlock connector which we convert easily to your Coyote fuel rail. Does not include the rail sensor itself.
Currently our kit does not use variable cam timing so it’s especially ideal for aftermarket camshafts. However we have tested this setup on stock cams and the car runs and drives perfectly with minimal power loss. We will be offering a VCT Add-on option in the near future that will allow functionality of the stock cam phasers. Stay tuned for that.
We designed our new EEK-FIVE Coyote Swap Kit, which is an all new engine swap program to use your existing 99-04 ECU computer (EEC-V) and wiring, to control any Gen1 or Gen2 Coyote engine from 2011-2017 model vehicles.
NOTE: This item number 777-001 is for using a stock 11-23 GT intake manifold and includes a Throttle Body adapter.
If you are using a GT350 manifold, you do not need the adapter and use EEK FIVE item number 777-003.
