NEW ITEM!! EEK-FIVE Coyote Swap Guide for 1999-2004 Ford vehicles !
Have you ever wanted to do a Coyote Swap but were overwhelmed with the swap wiring or components? Well, we take the hassle of that for you, by providing you with everything you need to know to use your stock 1999-2004 ECU Computer and Engine Wiring harness to run the Coyote engine! This is a first in coyote swaps and this process requires less parts, less headaches, less wiring changes, and ensures that all your stock gauges, instrument cluster, air conditioning, cruise control, and drivability work flawlessly.
Our Shrader “EEK FIVE” conversion is so aptly named after the EEC-V processor used by Ford in 99-04 cars. Any 99-04 Ford vehicle can be swapped with this method, however the most popular swap is of course the Mustang, which we offer several specific options for including a plug and play fuel line adapter to the stock fuel system. This will work with a manual or automatic transmission. Air conditioning, Fans, Cruise Control, and all OBD port functionality still works exactly the same as before without any crazy wiring changes like you would have to do on a Control Pack swap, or other ECU swap.
We show you how to use a cable driven mechanical throttle body to operate throttle control, so no more Drive-by-Wire system, no more “Limp” mode issues, and easier tuning for complex setups. This setup deletes the Variable Cam Timing (VCT) of the coyote engine and requires locked out cams, so it works best with aftermarket cams and cam lockouts, however stock cams can be used if you lock them out and degree them. On our test car with a Gen 2 coyote engine, 10.5:1 Compression Ratio, upgraded cams and valve springs, we made 470 rwhp and spun to 8000 rpm on E85.
This swap will work with almost any coyote intake manifold changes including GT350, and works on Gen 1 or Gen 2 Coyote based engines. Gen 3 or 4 (2018-up) engines are more complex and not ideal for this swap.
We offer complete wiring swap kits, or individual parts to go along with our guide for an even easier swap. We have all the plug-n-play electrical adapters to convert your 4.6 engine harness to run the coyote engine, without cutting up or destroying the original harness. You can view our Swap components separately here on the website.
